Emergency Pet Food Shelf

The People & Pets Together pet food shelf is open to residents of the city of Minneapolis. We provide dog and cat food, and pet care items, to individuals and families in crisis. (We may also have a limited supply of food for birds, fish, guinea pigs, rabbits and other companion animals.)

You may visit the pet food shelf once a month.

People who live outside of the city of Minneapolis are provided assistance once per year. We also serve people who are homeless or without a permanent address.

No appointment necessary. During your first visit we will verify your address and determine eligibility. We will also ask questions about your pets (please leave your pets at home when you visit the pet food shelf).

The pet food shelf is accessible to people who use a wheelchair or with physical disabilities. We are on Metro Transit route 9.
